This was the first successful piece I did in art school it is called "Wards of the State". I was a commentary on what i saw when i visited my grandparents when they went into a state nursing home. When people's family kinda of just stick them in the homes and leave them there. i like it it was definitely one of the better pieces in the class.

a new muse

I am beginning to think about grad school. Should i try or shouldn't I. I think i should perpetuate the cycle of fiber art by getting my masters and teaching fiber art. I made a book the other day. I am kind of excited. I am going to try and fill it up with paper cuts. people say they are pretty so far so i am going to keep going maybe try to work in immense detail after i get really good. Who knows.
